Why do I not get the true capacity of mAph that is advertised on the power bank?
There are a few conditions to consider when trying to calculate how much energy you will use when charging your device. If the voltage varies at all between the battery, charging cord, and phone there will have to be energy expelled to transfer between voltages. This is on top of the energy that it takes to move down the length of the cord. There could be up to a 10% loss in capacity when charging.
-
How will the power bank's amperage be split when charging multiple devices?
There are two ways total amperage is split between multiple ports. In some power banks, there is a total output amperage for the device that is split between the two ports almost evenly. In others, there is a designated maximum amperage per port. This would be clearly stated in the product specifications. Please see the product page for more specific information for each power bank.

What's the difference between power strips and surge protectors?
Both surge protectors and power strips allow you to charge multiple devices by using one wall outlet. The difference comes when there is a surge, or a short spike in voltage, and a surge protector has the capabilities to block or short any excess voltage from getting to your device. For many large or expensive electronics, it is suggested you use a surge protector to protect your device from potential damage. A power strip does not have this capability and only supplies you with more power outlets, which can be useful for smaller appliances and devices.

Membrane keyboards have keys that use a rubber dome as the top layer under the key, which produces a quiet user experience. Membrane keyboards also have a limitation on how many keys it will register if you can press them at the same time, due to its circuitry. On the other hand, mechanical keyboards have a characteristic clicking feeling and sound, which can vary based on the key switches used. This allows for the user experience to have much firmer keys that doesn't diminish easily over time. These more tactile keyboards also can achieve n-key rollover (NKRO) or the ability to register all the keys if they are pushed at once due to its individual switch structure. This makes it perfect for gamers, who need a keyboard that reacts as fast as human reflexes.
